Kids Workshops
Tie-dye classes are a great way to introduce kids and youth to the fun and unique world of garment dyeing. These classes can include lessons on the history of tie-dye and how it has evolved over the years, as well as teaching kids about color theory and how to use primary and secondary colors.
The classes can also be tailored to the group's interests and needs, such as incorporating a focus on cultural dye techniques, natural dyeing, the environment, sustainability, and/or fashion.
During the class, participants will be guided through each step of the tie-dye process, including how to prepare the t-shirts, how to mix colors, and how to apply the dye.
After the dye is applied, the participants will have the opportunity to use their creativity and design their own unique tie-dye t-shirts. Finally, after the dye has been set, the participants will be able to take their creations home as a reminder of their fun experience in with Dye Workshop.
